Our
Speech-Language Pathology team welcomes students for full-time graduate clinical externships, lasting 12-14 weeks. Sinai offers a fast-paced environment where you can experience multiple settings and gain experience with patients and a range of diagnoses.
We work closely with your externship coordinator to meet your graduate program's specific requirements as well as the requirements of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Second year graduate students are offered an externship at Sinai Rehabilitation Center in the adult
inpatient and
outpatient rehabilitation departments, as well as
acute care. Students will gain experience with assessment, treatment, documentation, discharge planning and interdisciplinary communication and meetings.
